Responsibilities
- Program Planning & Coordination: Conceptualize, plan, and produce high-quality original YouTube programs; discover potential new media content and program directions.
- On-site Coordination & Directing: Act as the on-site director, collaborating closely with the videographer and production team. Responsible for on-site shooting direction, composition and lighting control, and visual style setting. Guide on-screen hosts and guests, and precisely control the shooting progress and pacing.
- Production Quality Control & Practical Support: Monitor the video production workflow from pre-production brainstorming to post-production editing and packaging, ensuring the final product meets the channel's positioning and high-quality standards. Must possess basic shooting, lighting, and editing skills to provide specific guidance during production or offer flexible support when necessary.
- Commercial Cooperation & Coordination: Communicate closely with the Sales Department to coordinate and produce creative sponsored videos (Advertorials / Sponsored Content) for clients, accurately conveying the client's message while maintaining the program's entertainment value.
- Budgeting & Cost Control: Manage and control the budget for various production projects.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in new media, YouTube channel operations, or television program production.
- Possess basic shooting, lighting, and video editing skills (familiar with editing software such as Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro). Basic graphic or visual effects design skills (e.g., Photoshop, After Effects) are highly preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and coordination skills. Able to lead shooting projects independently and collaborate efficiently across departments with videographers, editorial teams, and the sales department.
- Strong visual aesthetic sense and creativity, able to maintain high-quality output under tight production deadlines.
- Stay abreast of internet trends, trending topics, and new media development trends with a strong passion for managing YouTube channels.
- Proficient in both written and spoken Chinese and English.
Nice to have:
- Proven track record of successfully driving channel traffic or creating viral videos (Portfolio required).
- Experience in discovering and mentoring potential new on-screen talents.
