Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Associate, where you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and fostering a positive dental experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your clinical skills, collaborate with experienced professionals including an in house board certified periodontist. Our office focuses on areas of implants, periodontics, orthodontics, wisdom teeth, and general dentistry. We are a fully operational clinic with modern CBCT, iTero scanners, etc. As a key member of our practice, you'll be taking over a previous associate position with full patient base as they are moving back home. empowered to provide comprehensive dental services in a welcoming environment that values continuous learning and professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Perform dental examinations, diagnose oral health issues, and develop treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs
- Assist with various dental procedures including restorations, extractions, root canals, and cosmetic treatments
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term oral health
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic health record systems such as Dentrix
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth daily operations and uphold the highest standards of patient safety and comfort
- Utilize CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology for designing dental restorations when applicable
- Support pediatric patients by providing gentle care and creating a positive experience during visits
Qualifications
- Valid Province license to practice dentistry as a Dental Associate or Dentist
- Proven experience working in a dental office environment, with familiarity using electronic health records like Dentrix
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry and oral health conditions
- Experience working with pediatric patients is highly desirable
- Proficiency in CAD software for designing restorations is a plus
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with team members
- Ability to handle multiple cases efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
