Math and Reading Assistant Posting
Applicants must:
- have (at least 1-2 years) experience working with children ages 3 and older
- have EXCELLENT spoken and written English skills
- high proficiency in math is an asset
- be mature and dedicated to a long term commitment
- be extremely organized and follow direction
- be patient/enjoy working with children and youth
- be able to prioritize and multitask
Job details:
- marking student's homework and classwork
- working with early learners to complete their daily classwork assignments
- teaching, explaining and observing students while they complete their work
- working with students on their multiplication tables and oral reading skills
- other office duties as needed (stapling/hole punching/filing etc.)
- keeping the Centres tidy and organized
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
