Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting & Payroll Administrator to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounts receivable and payroll functions, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll, invoicing, collections, and related financial transactions.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional with strong knowledge of cloud-based financial and payroll systems to contribute to the organization's financial integrity, operational efficiency, and continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full accounts receivable cycle, including invoicing, payment processing, collections, and account reconciliation.
- Process payroll accurately and on schedule, ensuring compliance with applicable legislation, company policies, and reporting requirements.
- Maintain employee payroll records, benefits deductions, and statutory remittances.
- Reconcile payroll and receivable accounts and investigate discrepancies.
- Prepare financial reports, payroll summaries, and supporting documentation for management.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve payroll and billing inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and payroll legislation.
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial processes, audits, and reporting requirements.
- Maintain accurate records within cloud-based accounting and payroll platforms.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in accounting, payroll administration, or a similar financial role.
- Strong experience with cloud-based accounting and payroll software (e.g., MS Dynamics Great Plains, ADP USA, Business Central, or similar platforms).
- Solid understanding of accounts receivable processes and payroll regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
