Summary: Scran & Dram hosts ensure the best possible overall guest experience with emphasis on providing quick, efficient, and friendly customer service, engaging customers, and maintaining a clean and orderly working environment.
Hours of work: Will vary. Scran & Dram is a 7-day a week operation. This position requires DAY & NIGHT availability and hours, including weekends and holidays. Schedules and hours vary depending on business requirements.
General accountabilities:
· Warmly greet customers as they enter the restaurant
· Seat customers in restaurant
· Provide exemplary service to customers
· Maintain a clean and orderly seating area including clearing tables of all glasses and plates as appropriate, wiping tables after use, picking up food & debris from the floor, etc.
· Clean glasses, utensils, and equipment as needed
· Prepare lemons, limes, and other beverage garnishes as needed
· Thoroughly perform all daily and weekly cleaning duties assigned to shift
· Interact with customers, especially those sitting alone at the bar – make it a priority to chat with them and ensure customers are enjoying themselves
· Take and manage reservations
· Answer the phone
· Check phone messages at the beginning of each shift and periodically throughout the day
· Take and prepare takeout orders, accept payment from customers
· Full and thorough execution of opening and/or closing duties – ensure you leave the restaurant clean, fully stocked, and ready for the next shift
Required qualifications:
· Related experience in food and beverage services is preferred
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with other members of the team and the general public

Pay: $16.60-$17.60 per hour
