We are preparing for a busy season ahead and are looking to expand our base division, and are currently looking for HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATORS (Dozer, Excavator, Skid Steer)
Responsibilities and duties for Operators:
- Minimum 2-5 years experience in a Dozer, or Excavator, and or 2-5 years Experience with Skid Steers, , etc...
- GPS experience is an asset but not required.
- Strong understanding of Ground Disturbance standards
- Ability to prep aggregates to desired elevation and spec
- Previous experience prepping parking lots, roads/laneways, concrete and landscape, considered a strong asset.
- Experience in performing daily maintenance and checks on heavy equipment.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Possess a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong understanding of survey/site staking
- Capable of operating around other equipment, ground personnel and obstacles
- Self-motivated and able to drive workflow.
- Able to read and interpret grades.
- Willing and able to assist ground crew when equipment is not being utilized.
- Strong housekeeping practices

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 8 months
Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
