We are currently looking for an Invoicing Specialist to join Radiant and be part of our dynamic team. This posting is for an existing vacant position within the organization.
HYBRID WORK MODEL: Work in the office at 1280 Courtneypark Drive E, Mississauga every Monday Wednesday and Thursday. Work from home Tuesday and Fridays.
What You’ll Do:
- Meet the specific needs and requirements of the customers and ensure that invoices and statements are sent out in a timely, accurate manner with required back up.
- Request missing documents and information (e.g., BOL #, POD, B/R #, cubing by dims., quick pay carriers, etc.) from carriers.
- Work with the Operations Team to ensure that complete and accurate details of bookings are in the system.
- Ensure all additional accessorial billing to the customer and carrier payment is uploaded in the system in a timely manner.
- Prepare invoices and statements by cross-referencing bills of lading with the information in the systems. Email or EDI invoices and statements to the customers.
- Upload invoices on customer websites within specified timelines in order to get paid if required.
- Process additional standalone invoices and payment through the transportation management system.
- Work on the un-invoiced report to reduce the number of loads un-invoiced over 20 days.
- Work closely with Credit and Collections and Accounts Payable to resolve any outstanding issues.
- Assist with scanning and indexing documents as required.
- Provide Reception coverage as required.
- Other duties and assignments as required.
What You Bring to the Role:
- Minimum 2 years experience in Invoicing.
- College Diploma / University Degree in Business, Accounting or related discipline.
- Intermediate computer skills required in Excel i.e. filter, sort, formulas, pivot tables, v-look up. NOTE - an Excel assessment is part of the recruitment process.
- Working knowledge of financial software, i.e., Epicor, Great Plains, JD Edwards, SAP.
- Experience uploading invoices on customer websites (e.g., Syncada, Ryder, Lean, etc.) is an asset.
- Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in verbal and written form.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills in a team environment.
- Highly organized with the ability to multi-task.
- Analytical, accurate and detail oriented.
- Work well under pressure in a time sensitive environment.
