AZ FLOAT DRIVER FOR HEAVY CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT DELIVERY
PAY RANGE: $37.00-$39.00 PER HOUR PLUS BENEFITS

We are looking for an experienced and responsible AZ Heavy Equipment Float Driver to join our team. You’ll be delivering our heavy equipment safely and efficiently across designated routes to our Heavy Equipment Rental Clients .

Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and maintain our trucks to deliver heavy equipment, including loaders, excavators, and other machinery.
- Plan delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient transportation of equipment to customers or job sites.
- Load and unload heavy equipment, ensuring it is properly secured and follows all safety protocols.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and equipment, ensuring compliance with regulations and reporting any maintenance needs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients to coordinate deliveries and handle any issues that arise.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle logs, and equipment condition reports.
- Adhere to all relevant transportation laws and company policies to ensure the safety of both the driver and other road users.
Qualifications:
- Valid AZ driver’s license with a clean driving record. Please send a copy your driver's abstract upon applying. Please note we understand and respect that no one is perfect, just let us know and we will work with the right candidate!!
- Minimum of 5 years of experience driving a heavy-duty truck and delivering heavy equipment.
- Experience operating and loading/unloading heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, and bulldozers is an asset.
- Knowledge of local, provincial, and federal transportation regulations, including hours-of-service regulations.
- Strong attention to detail, especially when securing loads and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
