What you will do…
As a Technical Assistant you will be responsible for managing the tech library for our Investing in Women’s future program involving equipment and software which the program participants can use for practice. You will oversee the day-to day operations of the program delivery which involves training the participants on social media (YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Tiktok), creating & editing videos, product photography & editing while maintain accurate records of various program related resources. You will assist the program facilitator to monitor, evaluate & measure the program outcomes and prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and annual narrative reports and collect the required statistics on program progress meeting the timelines. You will organize information sessions (e.g. Ecommerce , cyber security , importance of SEO , how to expand network through social media ) either yourself or by inviting guest speakers from community and government agencies. Lastly you will make sure best practices are followed at all the times.
What you will bring….
A background in web development, graphic designing, software development, digital marketing will be an asset. You should have a Technology Understanding and a working knowledge of setting up a business account on various social media platforms. Internet, social media and intermediate computer knowledge of MS Office is a must. If you are able to communicate in a 2nd Language that would be an asset. You should be comfortable in using various video communication platforms (Zoom, GoToMeeting, GoTo Webinar, Teams) and should possess excellent experience of using other social media platforms for digital marketing. You should have excellent verbal, written and electronic communication skills, organizational skills, facilitation/presentation skills, a demonstrated understanding of adult learning principles
You should be experienced in designing, organizing and facilitating workshops for groups. You should be culturally sensitive with strong inter-personal skills. You will require a Police Records Check for Service with the Vulnerable Sector
