```Responsibilities```
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and procedures
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Assist the dentist during procedures by passing instruments, suctioning, and providing support
- Take and develop dental x-rays as directed by the dentist
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction
```Qualifications```
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
- X-ray certification required
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in Curve, Cleardent or similar dental software preferred
- Experience as a dental receptionist is a plus
- Experience in pediatrics, orthodontics, or CAD is desirable but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
