Overview
We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Cabinet Painter to join our manufacturing team. This role involves preparing and painting kitchen cabinets to achieve high-quality finishes, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will have experience with various tools and techniques, mechanical knowledge, and a strong attention to detail. Duties
- Prepare cabinet surfaces by sanding, cleaning, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion
- Apply paint, stain, or finish coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment with precision and consistency
- Operate and maintain power tools and hand tools necessary for surface preparation and finishing tasks
- Follow safety protocols when handling paints, solvents, and equipment to maintain a safe work environment
- Inspect finished cabinets for quality, color consistency, and smoothness, making touch-ups as needed
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of workstations, ensuring cleanliness and organization throughout the process
Experience
- Prior 2 years experience in cabinet painting or related manufacturing roles is preferred
- Familiarity with machining, assembly, or mechanical processes is advantageous
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow and reduce waste
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, crane operation, or forklift operation is a plus
- Basic math skills for measuring and mixing paints or finishes accurately
- Understanding of safety procedures related to painting and manufacturing environments
- Mechanical knowledge related to machinery maintenance or troubleshooting is beneficial

Pay: $17.85-$27.00 per hour
