Responsibilities
- Operate laundry machines and equipment safely and efficiently to process linens, towels, uniforms, and other fabric items.
- Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and washing requirements to ensure proper handling.
- Inspect items for stains, tears, or damage; notify supervisors of any issues requiring special attention.
- Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by organizing supplies and ensuring equipment is sanitized regularly.
- Follow established procedures for washing, drying, folding, and storing laundry items in designated areas.
- Keep accurate records of laundry cycles, loads processed, and maintenance needs for equipment.
- Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies to ensure availability at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality laundry services is preferred.
- Knowledge of laundry processes, including operating commercial washing machines and dryers.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety protocols.
- Basic cleaning skills to uphold hygiene standards in the laundry area.
- Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads when necessary.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
