Job Responsibilities:
Working with all aspects of Concrete and Asphalt exterior hard surfaces.
Knowledge to read blueprints, understanding grades, an asset.
Deal with project management, timelines, and budgets.
Experience running Curb Machines and/or Asphalt pavers an asset.
· Ability to place, level & finish sidewalk and pads
· Ability to finish curb, including facing curb and leveling gutters
· Ability to do prep and grade work
· Ability to order materials and do take offs
· Setting up line and grade
· Operate basic power tools
· Operate and care for general construction equipment and machines
· Required to plan out daily job tasks ahead of time and order materials, equipment, etc.
Required:
· Valid driver’s license - Work truck to be provided
· Two or more years of experience in construction
Preferred:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Full time, year round available
Rate of Pay:
- $30 - $40 /hour depending on experience
- Company Truck, Cell Phone, Health & Dental , RRSP Matching
- Monday to Friday - 6:30am - 5:00pm
