Position: ECE / ECE(IT) Educator
Location: Big Dreams Learning Center, Prince George, BC
Hours/Shifts: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30PM (rotating shift )

Job Summary
As we are growing Big Dreams Learning Center is seeking experienced and dedicated Early Childhood Educators and ECE(IT) educators to join our team. Our center provides a high-quality, play-based learning environment for children aged 1 2 months to 5 years, emphasizing holistic development-social, emotional, cognitive, and physical. The successful candidates will design and implement engaging programs, foster a safe and inclusive environment, and collaborate closely with families and colleagues to support each child’s growth and well-being. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Use effective communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Manage classroom behavior using appropriate leadership and organizational skills
- Plan and implement engaging, play-based learning activities that support children's development.
- Assist with daily routines, including diapering, toileting, feeding, meal preparation, and rest periods.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and licensing requirements.
- Observe and document children's development and communicate effectively with families.
- Experience
- Prior experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting is preferred
- Classroom experience with early childhood education is essential

Qualifications
- Valid Early Childhood Educator (ECE) certification and ECE IT certification registered with the ECE Registry
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Clear criminal record check
- Minimum 3 professional references
- Previous childcare or early childhood education experience
Pay: $27.50-$32.00 per hour
