Job Description
Rocanda is actively seeking a Forklift Mechanic / industrial Maintenance to help with maintenance on the expanding fleet. A successful candidate will be self-starting, able to work well both alone, and as part of a team, while demonstrating strong electrical troubleshooting skills & LPG fuel system knowledge.
A willingness to learn about troubleshooting and maintenance of stationary equipment such as pumps, mixers and heat exchangers is required
This position will be for our day shift, from 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Monday - Friday.
Responsibilities include:
General repairs and maintenance on:
Komatsu, Doosan, Clark & Manitou forklifts
Light duty trucks & trailers
Pumps and chemical blending equipment
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Have previous experience working with chemical blending equipment is an asset
- Must have a valid Class 5 license with a good abstract
- Prior forklift certification/operation is an asset
- Experience with different pumps such as Bowie & Diaphragm considered an asset
