Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Security Guard to join our team. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our residents. Your primary duties will include surveillance, regular rounds, taking boiler readings, light cleaning duites.
Duties:
- Patrol assigned areas on foot to ensure the safety and security of the premises
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify potential security threats
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Enforce access control procedures by verifying identification and granting or denying entry
- Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify any security vulnerabilities
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of any security-related incidents
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as necessary
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients and employees with any security-related concerns
- Vacuum & mop lobby floors overnight to keep the building clean and presentable.
- Pick up garbage around the exterior of the building.
- Respond to emergencies in accordance with the companies policies.
Skills:
- Strong surveillance skills to monitor premises effectively
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques to prevent theft or damage to property
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security equipment
- Understanding of law enforcement procedures and protocols
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
- Strong attention to detail and observation skills
