Countertop Sales and Design Associate
Countertops By Design is a leading kitchen and bath company with over 25 years of experience creating high-quality custom countertops for residential, retail, and commercial projects. Originally specializing in custom laminate and stone countertops, we have expanded our services over the past decade to include custom millwork and cabinetry for kitchen and bath renovations.
We are currently looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Countertop Sales Associate to join our growing team.
The Role
As a Countertop Sales Associate, you will work closely with clients throughout the renovation process, from the initial design consultation through ordering, scheduling, delivery, and installation. The ideal candidate is passionate about design, enjoys working with people, and can confidently manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in kitchen and bath, interior design, renovation, cabinetry, countertops, or a related industry is considered a strong asset.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and project requirements
- Assist customers with countertop and other design selections
- Provide knowledgeable and professional customer service throughout the project
- Conduct client design meetings and assist with layout changes and product selections
- Prepare quotes, estimates, orders, invoices, and other project documentation
- Coordinate ordering, scheduling, delivery, and installation
- Manage projects from initial consultation through completion
- Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, installers, and internal staff by phone, email, and in person
- Maintain accurate project records, files, schedules, and documentation
- Develop strong product knowledge and stay informed about available materials, products, and design options
- Address client questions and concerns promptly and professionally
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and team-oriented work environment
- Take initiative to identify and complete tasks while effectively managing multiple priorities
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, sales, or a related field
- Experience in kitchen and bath, interior design, renovation, cabinetry, countertops, or a similar industry is an asset
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

Position: Countertop Sales and Design Associate
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; Saturday, 9:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
