Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Doctor's Office Assistant to join our healthcare team. This role is vital in ensuring smooth daily operations within the medical office, providing exceptional support to both staff and patients. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, familiarity with electronic medical records, and experience in a medical office environment. Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors professionally at the front desk, creating a welcoming environment
- Manage multi-line phone systems, scheduling appointments, and answering patient inquiries
- Maintain and update electronic medical records using LibreMD ( training provided )
- Verify patient information, insurance details, and prepare necessary documentation for appointments
- Assist with administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and managing correspondence
- Handle check-in/check-out processes efficiently while ensuring compliance with privacy regulations
- Support the clinical team by preparing patient charts and assisting with administrative needs as required
- Ensure the office remains organized, clean, and stocked with necessary supplies
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a medical office setting is highly preferred
- Proficiency with electronic medical records systems such as Libre MD is desired
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with multi-line phone systems and managing front desk operations
- Office experience demonstrating professionalism, reliability, and excellent communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain patient confidentiality
- Prior administrative experience in healthcare settings

Wage is negotiated based on education, experience and professionalism. Any letter of recommendation that can be provided may increase the starting wage offered. There is a mandatory 6 month probabationary period with the possibility of an extension up to 12 months from hirirng date, depending on performance.
Pay: $17.50-$24.00 per hour
