Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Lawn Care Crew Leader to oversee and execute landscape maintenance projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical knowledge in horticulture and construction, and hands-on experience with various tools and equipment. This role involves managing a team, ensuring quality work, and maintaining safety standards across all job sites.
Duties
- Lead and supervise a team of lawn care technicians to complete landscape maintenance tasks efficiently and to high standards
- Operate heavy equipment such as Lawn Mover, trimer .blower.
- Perform gardening tasks including planting, pruning, fertilizing, and soil preparation
- Maintain and repair landscape features using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment
- Oversee the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems and other landscape infrastructure
- Conduct routine inspections of work sites to ensure safety compliance and quality control
- Coordinate with clients to understand project specifications and deliver satisfactory results
- Ensure all tools, machinery, and equipment are properly maintained and stored
Skills
- Proficiency in operating excavators, power tools, hand tools, and mechanical equipment
- Strong knowledge of horticulture, gardening practices, and landscape maintenance techniques
- Experience with irrigation systems installation and repair
- Mechanical knowledge related to machinery maintenance and troubleshooting
- Background in construction or related fields is a plus
- Leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with clients and team members
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
