The Dufresne Group is currently seeking a Manager, Corporate Development for our Finance and Strategic Innovation Team within our Home Office located at 147 Commerce Drive in Winnipeg, MB.
As a Manager, Corporate Development, you will work closely with the Director of Strategic Innovation and other senior executives to identify, assess, and execute strategic initiatives aimed at growing our business. You will be responsible for preparing, analyzing and communicating growth models for strategic projects, assisting in preparation of financial models, business plans and opportunities. You will also participate in the development and presentation of Management materials.

As a Manager, Corporate Development, you will:
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and develop financial models and business plans for new initiatives.
- Evaluate growth opportunities with a view of value drivers, potential synergies and upside opportunities as well as identifying risks
- Prepare and present detailed reports and presentations for senior leadership, outlining project findings, recommendations, and next steps, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Create dynamic financial models for potential growth opportunities
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis of the company’s performance
As a successful candidate you will have the following:
- CPA designation with 5+ years of proven operational experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with other departments
- Highly adaptable and passionate about solving business problems - both from a financial and operational perspective
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Demonstrated strong knowledge of accounting, corporate finance, and statistics, including proven analytical skills
- Passport and ability to travel to within Canada and the United States without restrictions (some travel will be required)
- Strong self-management and communication skills, with the ability to work within a team environment
- Superior working knowledge of MS Office products and ability to learn in-house computer programs
- Ability to adapt presentations for all levels
