Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Journeyman/woman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems within industrial settings, with the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics, work with low voltage systems, and utilize various power and hand tools. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to complex renovation, construction, and maintenance projects across our facilities, ensuring safety and operational efficiency.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in industrial environments, including wiring, conduit, panels, and control systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute electrical installations accurately.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic tools and techniques, including working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low voltage systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installation and repair tasks.
- Perform renovation and construction activities related to electrical infrastructure upgrades or new installations.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes.
- Assist in the setup and calibration of industrial equipment, including PLCs and other control devices.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely completion of electrical work within project specifications.
Requirements
- Valid Journeyman/woman electrician license or certification.
- Proven experience working as an industrial electrician in manufacturing or construction environments.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
- Experience working with low voltage systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), power tools, hand tools, and schematics.
- Familiarity with renovation projects involving electrical systems in existing facilities.
- Handyman experience is a plus for versatile troubleshooting and repair tasks.
- Ability to interpret technical documents accurately and work independently or as part of a team.
- Commitment to safety protocols and adherence to electrical codes and standards. Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour
