UBACARE is a modern community pharmacy, located in Campbell Heights in Surrey BC. We are a fast-paced, high-volume, facility that is closed to the public operating exclusively via courier.
We are seeking a highly skilled and talented Staff Pharmacist to join our fast-growing team. The candidate must have a proven ability to drive process improvements and the ability to keep pace with growth, while having capacity to motivate the Team to meet objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in leading a highly energetic, successful team in a very fast-paced environment
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, customers and healthcare providers
- Perform accurate and on-time processing of prescriptions
- Ensure that dispensing of all medications is maintained to the highest quality standards
- Provide consultations to patients as it relates to their prescriptions including basic pharmaceutical information about their medications, drug chemistry, proper usage, consumption patterns and management of potential side effects.
- Work collaboratively with Pharmacy team to accomplish organizational goals and objectives as they relate to all aspects of the pharmacy
- Assist in management of inventory levels of drugs and packaging supplies; coordinate medication orders with wholesaler or drug manufacturers
- Provide resolutions and advice to customer needs on time
- Oversee Pharmacy Support Staff to ensure completion and/or accuracy of work
- Practice at the top of pharmacist scope (innovation, excellence)
- Practice within applicable Federal/Provincial laws, Provincial Code of Ethics, rules and regulations
- Adhere to the performance standards set fourth in our Team Member Handbook
- Ensure all privacy requirements are met, including customer confidentiality and consent management
- Maintaining records required in accordance with legislation, standards of practice, and policy
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmaceutical Science or Pharm-D
- In good standing with the College of Pharmacists of BC
- Attention to detail as it relates to medication preparation, labeling and documentation
- Self-motivated, team player and positive attitude
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a life-long learner
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines
- Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Leadership experience
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn about diverse services offered at the pharmacy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel, Word and Outlook) with excellent typing speed and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
