Mountain View Printing and Graphics - Inside Sales Representative (ISR)/Customer Service Representative (CSR)
Job Summary:
The primary function of the Inside Sales Representative (ISR)/Customer Service Representative (CSR) is to serve as the liaison between the client and internal manufacturing and operations personnel. The ISR/CSR interprets client requirements, analyzes alternatives, and converts client needs into meaningful specifications used by internal manufacturing and operations personnel to produce the requested product or service. The ISR/CSR ensures that complete, accurate, and timely information is provided to all departments in the value stream.
1. Positive Client Experience
- Consult with clients on requests, analyze various alternatives, and advise clients on the most effective solution to meet their needs as directed by the sales representative
- Capture accurate and complete client specifications
- Set and manage client expectations for delivery
- Manage activities from order entry to job submission into production
- Monitor production activities through shipping
- Proactively communicate updates and potential schedule impacts to clients
- Collaborate with team members to resolve issues impacting delivery
- Document, maintain, and adhere to client-specific standards
2. Timely Pre-Billing
- Complete pre-billing activities
- Resolve job cost issues
- Resolve aging open orders
3. Efficient Client Support Processes
- Actively engage in continuous improvement initiatives and activities
- Create, implement, maintain, and adhere to standard work and quality control standards
- Perform problem analysis, identify root cause, collaborate on potential solutions, and assist with implementation of corrective/preventative action plans
- Share knowledge and skills with other team members
Qualifications:
- MUST have a Minimum 5 years of Inside Sales or Customer Service experience in the print industry – offset and digital
- A creative thinker who can translate client initiatives and requirements into innovative and successful solutions
- An individual with extreme commitment to exceeding customer expectations and building long-term relationships
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work successfully and efficiently in high paced environment
- Professional, courteous, polite, with excellent telephone manners
- Strong computer skills (MS Outlook, Word, Excel)
- A go-getter with great attention to detail who can handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Provide high level of service to existing customer base, following orders from initial call through order entry and fulfillment of product
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to negotiate conflict
- High school degree or equivalent professional experience required.
- Industry related experience will be considered an asset.Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports. Weekly work plans, and monthly/quarterly analysis.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
