Summary
We are seeking a professional Class 3/1 Truck Driver to join our team. You will play a vital role in transporting waste, construction and recyclable materials efficiently, supporting our mission of local community service.
Responsibilities
- Operate and drive various trucks including overhead garbage trucks, roll-off trucks, dump trucks, and side-load trucks to designated locations.
- Ensure timely collection and delivery while adhering to safety regulations.
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on assigned vehicles.
- Assist with tarping, loading and unloading materials as needed.
- Maintain accurate logs of trips, and vehicle condition.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies during transportation.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize routes and improve service efficiency.
- Provide high levels of customer service.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 3/1 commercial driver's license.
- Proven experience operating heavy trucks and/or sanitation vehicles.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving.
- Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members & customers.
- Physical ability to load/unload materials and tarp loads as required.
- Prior experience in waste management or sanitation industry is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 55 per week
