The New Canadians’ Centre of Excellence Inc. (NCCE Inc.) is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, and highly motivated Human Resources Coordinator. The ideal candidate for this position will have prior experience in human resources and
postsecondary education. The HR Coordinator will strictly adhere to NCCE Inc.’s confidentiality policy, will present professional attitude, good judgement, and discretion. Able to effectively manage multiple priorities, work well under
pressure and meet tight deadlines. Flexibility and the ability to thrive in an ever-changing work environment is a must. HR Coordinator reports to the HR Manager.
Responsibilities:
: Oversee payroll processing, ensuring that accuracy and timelines are met.
Ensure that all records of personnel (personal information, leaves, signed documents etc.) are maintained accurately and kept in strict confidence.
Oversee the review and maintenance of policies and procedures, ensure the updates are reflected in HR Policies and Procedures Manual, and updates communicated to staff in a timely manner.
Support recruitment and hiring process.
: Assist in office management and organizations procedures.
: Oversee maintenance of all necessary inventory records, collaborate with the IT department to support asset management.
: Administer group benefits plans.
Qualifications & Competencies
· A College Diploma or bachelor’s degree in HR or a related Human Resources field required.
· CHRP designation (or candidate) is an asset.
· A minimum of 3 years of related experience in HR, preferably in non-for-profit organization.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral).
· Sound organizational and problem-solving skills.
· High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
· Demonstrated ability to prioritize and complete many competing demands.
