During 2020 and 2021 the Ottawa Police Service anticipates hiring over 100 new police officers. Successful candidates will be hired in one of three (3) intakes per year (April , August and December) which align with the Ontario Police College training dates.

Education and Experience
All applicants must be: • Canadian citizen or permanent resident • At least 18 years of age • Have their high school diploma or equivalent • Full G Ontario Driver's License or provincial equivalent • Standard First Aid with Level C CPR will be required before being hired * • Candidates will be required to provide proof of a valid fitness assessment (PREP) upon successful completion of the Blended interview. * * If you currently have proof of completion of these documents, please attach them to your application.
