We currently have a Regular Full-Time opportunity for a Junior Financial Analyst position in the Office of the Chief Information Officer Department at Sunnybrook (Bayview).
Summary of Duties:
Reporting to the Director PMO and working with Directors, support development and maintenance of annual
budgets and forecasts
Maintain comprehensive tracking of ongoing capital and operating expenses against budgets aligned with
standard processes in place
Analyze and report budget status and key risks and opportunities that arise
Assist in preparing financial reports as required including identification of issues that will inform ongoing
Provide financial support to management team to interpret and understand financial information in order to
complete evidence based decision making
Coordinate and maintain an inventory of related documentation
Assist with execution and delivery of standard, Corporate financial processes such as annual budget process,
interpretation of monthly budget reports, and multi-year operational planning
Provide support to management team in developing presentations for senior leadership as required
Any ad-hoc analysis required
Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related field
Work experience in a similar setting / capacity is preferred
Ability to interpret data and analyze financial information to provide recommendation
Able to organize, plan and prioritize work with time constraints and strict deadlines.
Advanced knowledge of spreadsheet analysis through use of EXCEL
SAP Accounting experience and knowledge BI (i.e. TM1 & Power BI) would be an asset
Strong written & verbal communication skills
