We're hiring for a hands-on, customer-facing role managing daily kayak, canoe, and SUP rentals on West Lake. Focus on safety, customer experience, and smooth day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities
- Open site: check weather/wind (under 25 km/h), set up, prep equipment
- Greet customers, explain rental options, direct to online booking or assist walk-ins
- Verify reservations and insurance waivers
- Launch customers safely; ensure life jackets are worn at all times
- Monitor activity and ensure safe returns
- Clean, store equipment, and close the site
- Assist with any other operational, maintenance, landscaping, and guest services realated dutues as needed
Requirements
- Strong customer service skills
- Responsible, safety-focused
- Comfortable working outdoors
- Able to lift and move equipment
Schedule
- End of June to after Labour Day
- 7 days/week operation (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
- Full-day shifts (including setup and closing)
- Weekend availability required

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
