Job Description:
We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Apprentice Electrician or Electrical Technician.This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are eager to learn and develop their skills in the electrical trade. As an Apprentice Electrician, you will work under the guidance of experienced electricians to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of electrical work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist electricians with the installation and maintenance of electrical systems in various projects.
- Learn to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Learn to safely handle and use electrical tools and equipment.
- Learn to comply with electrical codes, regulations, and standards.
- Running Cable.
- Terminating Cables.
- Installing Panels.
- Installing Lights, Recepticals, Switches, Etc.
- Installing Major Equipment.
- Laying out and installing Unistrut and Cable Tray.
- Participate in on-the-job training and educational programs to develop skills and knowledge.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Enrolled in or completed an electrical apprenticeship or vocational training program or have relevant work experience.
- Basic understanding of electrical concepts and principles.
- Ability to follow instructions and learn new skills quickly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Working Conditions:
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will also be required to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds. The work schedule my vary depending on project deadlines, and occasional overtime may be required.
Compensation will be commensurate with the successful applicant’s strengths and experience as measured by the above description. Position available for morning and afternoon shifts Monday to Friday.
