Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Surgical and Patient Care Coordinator to join our healthcare team. The purpose of this position is to ensure that every surgical patient experiences a smooth, organized, and reassuring journey from consultation through recovery. This role requires outstanding organizational skills, exceptional communication, meticulous attention to detail, emotional intelligence, and the ability to anticipate patient needs while coordinating multiple clinical and administrative processes simultaneously.
The Surgical Coordinator is responsible for converting consultations into well-informed surgical decisions while providing patients with outstanding guidance and support.
Responsibilities include:
· Prepare cosmetic surgery quotations.
· Maintain consultation tracking lists.
· Coordinate operating room scheduling.
· Follow up with cosmetic consultation patients regarding quotations.
· Follow up with patients regarding eligibility and scheduling.
· Maintain accurate consultation records.
· Answer surgery-related administrative questions.
· Refer medical questions to the physician or nursing team.
· Explain pricing, financing options, and available payment methods.
· Provide surgical consent packages.
· Track consultation-to-surgery conversion.
· Ensure every consultation receives appropriate follow-up.
Requirements
- Proven experience in healthcare environments is not mandatory but appreciated.
- Demonstrated skills in team management and supervising staff.
- Strong background in patient care coordination is an asset.
- Experience with electronic record systems.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Compassionate communication skills tailored to diverse patient populations.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced healthcare settings.
- Fluency in English and French is mandatory.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
