We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty equipment and machinery in Atmore, AB.
Shift - Flexible
Pay - $50/hr
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive maintenance to keep machines and equipment running smoothly.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and repair or replace faulty parts.
Dismantle, repair, and reassemble equipment using the proper tools.
Fabricate and repair parts using machine shop equipment.
Monitor spare parts inventory and report when supplies are needed.
Cut and weld metal parts as required for repairs.
Complete maintenance reports and documentation.
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
Requirements:
Experience with welding is required.
Knowledge of mechanical equipment, pneumatic systems, and metal cutting.
Willing to work rotating shifts, overtime, and weekends when needed.
Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
