Overview
We are seeking motivated individuals to join our Landscape maintenance/Snow removal team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work outdoors, contribute to facility upkeep, and develop valuable skills in a dynamic environment. The position is ideal for those who enjoy hands-on work, physical activity, or want a change of pace. Prior experience in facilities maintenance, or using hand and power tools is a plus but not required. Candidates must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively in outdoor conditions.
Responsibilities
- Perform lawn maintenance and eventually Snow removal tasks across various facilities.
- Use hand tools and power tools to repair, maintain, and improve outdoor areas..
- Assist with maintenance including minor repairs and equipment upkeep.
- Manage time efficiently to complete daily tasks within scheduled hours.
- Operate heavy lifting equipment or manually lift heavy objects as needed for site maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding job progress and safety concerns.
- Ensure all work areas are safe, clean, and compliant with safety standards at all times.
Requirements
- Prior experience in lawn maintenance, facilities maintenance, or commercial snow removal is nice but a positive attitude and a willingness to learn will also work.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and basic cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate tasks with team members and supervisors.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize daily responsibilities efficiently.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to work outdoors for extended periods.
- A proactive attitude with a focus on safety, quality of work, and customer service excellence.
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
