About Us
Bright Star Club is a Christian non-profit organization dedicated to supporting children and families in the Downtown Eastside (DTES) community of Vancouver. Our mission is to help children grow healthy, active, and wise through sports and academic mentorship, empowering them to become leaders who truly brighten our society.
Because our programs run on a mission-minded basis, we charge families a nominal fee of just $50 for 6 months, which covers uniforms, snacks, academic tutoring, and educational guidance. On Saturday mornings, children participate in a rotating schedule: one hour of indoor soccer in the gymnasium and one hour of academic tutoring in the classroom.
Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Youth Soccer Head Coach to lead our indoor soccer sessions starting this September. As our Head Coach, you will create a positive, fun, and encouraging environment where children can build soccer skills, learn teamwork, and experience Christ-centered love and care.
While the stipend for this role is modest, this position is ideal for someone who loves working with youth, has a servant heart, and wants to make a meaningful community impact through soccer ministry.
