Job Summary
MPP Aftermarket is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trade Compliance Intern to support customs compliance, supplier data management, and trade operations activities. This position will assist with maintaining accurate trade data, supporting customs processes, and coordinating with internal departments, suppliers, and customs brokers.
Job Duties
- Obtain and maintain Country of Origin information from suppliers.
- Perform data entry and maintain records within ERP and compliance systems.
- Assist with HTS classification research and database maintenance.
- Review customs broker invoices for accuracy.
- Support customs duty recovery and refund projects.
- Research trade regulations, tariffs, and customs requirements.
- Maintain compliance trackers, reports, and documentation.
- Coordinate with suppliers, customs brokers, and internal departments to gather required information.
- Assist with process improvement and data integrity initiatives.
- Provide general administrative support to the Trade Compliance function.

We’re looking for a proactive self‑starter who values accuracy, consistency, and continuous improvement. You should be comfortable managing multiple priorities and working both independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a college or University program in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade, Commerce, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) is mandatory.
- Interest in customs compliance, international trade, logistics, or supply chain operations is an asset.
