We are currently looking to add a hardworking, enthusiastic Site Superintendent with a strong commitment to safety, to our Team. The Site Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the construction process and ensuring overall construction activities are within an established design, budget and within scheduling guidelines.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities

Include but are not limited to:

Effectively managing and coordinating own workforce, equipment, materials and trade contractors to attain targeted profit and schedule.
Managing cost control during construction.
Implementing Quality Control Programs.
Working closely with the project managers, project coordinators, owners, consultants, inspectors and trade contractors
Proactively identifying, addressing and resolving issues and problems as or before they occur.

Knowledge & Skills Required

Include but are not limited to:

A minimum of 10 years of commercial construction experience as a Superintendent is required.
Completion of post-secondary studies in construction, building technology, engineering or a similar field is preferred.
National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) Certification and Journeyman Carpenter ticket is preferred.
Must have experience managing projects in excess of $15 million.
Must possess strong communication skills, both verbally and written.
Must be highly organized and able to prioritize responsibilities.
Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office tools, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Projects.
Must have a valid and clean Driver’s license and be willing to travel to various sites.
Must have a proven ability to take initiative and be respectful of diversity.
