Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Shift Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our retail environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to manage a team effectively. This role offers an opportunity to develop managerial expertise while ensuring excellent customer service and operational efficiency. The Shift Supervisor will be responsible for supervising staff, managing store functions, and maintaining a positive shopping experience for customers.
Duties
- Lead and motivate team members to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service
- Oversee daily store operations, including merchandising, inventory management, and POS transactions
- Coordinate recruiting, training, and development of staff to foster a high-performing team
- Monitor sales performance and develop strategies to improve store productivity
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints efficiently, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
- Conduct interviews for potential new hires and participate in staff scheduling to optimize coverage
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and operational procedures
Experience
- Proven supervisory or team management experience in retail or related fields
- Strong background in retail sales, merchandising, and store management
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively in diverse situations
- Multilingual abilities are a plus for serving a diverse customer base
- Experience in recruiting, training & development, budgeting, and marketing strategies is preferred
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage time efficiently
- Organizational skills combined with proficiency in administrative tasks such as inventory control and pricing strategies
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with professionalism and attention to detail

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
