Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Climbing Arborist to join our team. This role involves working at heights to maintain, prune, and remove trees while ensuring the safety of both team members and clients. Responsibilities
- Climb trees using industry-standard safety equipment to perform pruning, cabling, bracing, or removal as needed
- Operate bucket trucks and bucket operation equipment for access to elevated work sites
- Implement rigging techniques for safe tree removal or branch management
- Conduct landscape maintenance tasks including trimming, shaping, and planting
- Utilize GIS tools for mapping and documenting tree inventories and maintenance plans
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry best practices
- Assist with general site cleanup and equipment maintenance after job completion
- Collaborate with team members to plan efficient work sequences and ensure project deadlines are met
Skills
- Proven experience in climbing trees safely using ropes, harnesses, and other climbing gear
- Strong knowledge of horticulture principles related to tree health and landscape maintenance
- Familiarity with rigging techniques for controlled tree removal or branch lowering
- Ability to operate bucket trucks safely and efficiently in various terrain conditions
- Experience with GIS mapping tools is a plus for site documentation and planning
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices to support overall site aesthetics
- Basic understanding of horticulture practices related to tree care and plant health management

Pay: $22.00-$40.00 per hour
