Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic, positive person to join our team. Ideally this person will have some carpentry/DIY/handyman experience, but most importantly be curious and willing to find out what the customer needs. They can remain calm under pressure, is organized and takes pride in helping others. The role will primarily be inside, but excellent customer service is key so if a customer needs help loading a vehicle or a stock truck needs help, it is expected you partake.
Potential opportunity to move into more of a primary Sales role, directly service our Contractor customers, and take on more responsibility within the company. Potential to move to full time.
Responsibilities
- Cashier duties
- Help customers find items, or decide what to order for their project from our vast array of suppliers
- Help receive and put away orders, face and stock shelves
- Clean shelves, floors, doors, cash desk, bathrooms, etc
- Assist senior staff with research, supplier communication, inventory, etc
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
