Intermediate Interior Designer
We are looking for a confident, focused, driven, and excited intermediate designer with 3 or more years of design experience in high end residential design to join the Harrison Fae Design team. If you have cutting edge, bold design ideas that you can’t wait to bring to life and are hungry to take the lead on your own projects within a small, hands-on company you will find a home in Harrison Fae.
Must Have’s:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in high end residential design (commercial experience is not needed at this time)
- Minimum of 3 years of Autocad experience to complete millwork, tiles, and electrical drawings
- Project management skills including going to meetings on your own, managing your own clients and projects etc.
- The ability to spot deficiencies on site and problem solve to take care of them
- Microsoft Office, including power point and excel
- Sketch Up, Enscape or Revit or 3D skills to complete 3D drawings of interiors and exteriors
- Must have a good sense of the residential design process from start to finish
- Must have a good knowledge of luxury finishes for residential design
- Must work well in a fast pace, independent environment. Thrive, not survive on change
- Must care deeply and be invested in your own personal growth
- We want someone who is ok with constantly learning & being in discomfort in order to grow
- Must live in the GTA and have access to reliable personal transportation.
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Must currently live in Canada and be registered to work in Canada.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Managing a project from start to finish
- Team collaboration
- Design concept
- Full drawing packages including electrical, millwork and tile packages
- Pricing and budgeting for projects
- Designing custom furniture and fixtures
- Working independently and creatively to come up with outside the box design for all projects
- Speaking directly to clients, builders and sales reps.
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Following Harrison Fae Design's standards for AutoCAD and Office
- Leading client meetings and presentations

The position would be in office to start. Work from home part time once you are trained (after 6 months) if your superior approves this based on your experience etc.
