Pay Range:
The base pay range for this position is
$240,000.00-$290,000.00 Annual
however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Position Overview:
The Allergy & Immunology Physician provides high-quality, patient-centered specialty medical care in an ambulatory clinic setting. This position evaluates, diagnoses, treats, and manages patients with allergic, asthmatic, and immunologic conditions. The physician conducts examinations, assesses symptoms, orders and interprets appropriate diagnostic testing, develops treatment plans, prescribes medications and therapies, provides patient education, and partners with the care team to support safe, effective, and coordinated patient care.
The physician also supports the development and ongoing operation of the Allergy & Immunology service line, including clinical protocols, quality and safety practices, staff education, and collaboration with primary care, specialty care, pharmacy, laboratory, and other relevant departments.
A Day in the Life:
- Provide direct specialty medical care for Allergy & Immunology patients within the applicable standard of care and the physician’s approved scope of practice and privileges.

Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage patients with allergic, asthmatic, immunologic, and related conditions.

Conduct patient examinations, assess symptoms, review medical history, develop differential diagnoses, and determine appropriate treatment plans.

Order, review, and interpret laboratory, diagnostic, and other clinically appropriate tests or studies.

Prescribe medications, therapies, and treatment regimens to treat identified and documented medical conditions.

Provide patient education regarding diagnoses, treatment options, medication use, symptom management, prevention strategies, follow-up care, and when to seek urgent or emergent care.

Discuss risks, benefits, alternatives, and potential side effects of medications, testing, procedures, and treatment options with patients.

Review and update allergy information before prescribing medication or initiating treatment.

Refer patients to other specialists, services, or care settings as clinically appropriate.

Collaborate with primary care, specialty care, nursing, pharmacy, laboratory, and other departments to support coordinated patient care.

Direct and coordinate patient care activities of nursing, clinical, and support staff as appropriate.

Partner with clinic leadership and staff to support safe, effective, and reliable Allergy & Immunology clinic workflows.

Participate in the development, implementation, and ongoing improvement of clinical protocols, patient care processes, quality initiatives, and safety practices.
About You!
This Job is For You if You Have:
- Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from an accredited medical school.

Completion of an accredited residency program.

Completion of fellowship training in Allergy & Immunology preferred or required based on medical staff privileging criteria.

Board certified or board eligible in Allergy & Immunology.

Maintain physician licensure, in good standing, acceptable in the State of Washington.

Maintain medical staff membership and clinical privileges in accordance with organizational requirements.

Maintain current DEA registration and other certifications or registrations required for the position.

Maintain required continuing medical education and professional competency requirements.

Demonstrates the clinical knowledge and technical skills required for a physician practicing Allergy & Immunology.

Demonstrates the ability to evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage patients within the physician’s scope of practice, training, licensure, and specialty standards.

Demonstrates sound clinical judgment, professionalism, and commitment to patient safety.

Ability to learn, use, and adapt to clinical technology, electronic medical records, and other systems required for patient care and documentation.

Initiates and participates in activities that enhance daily clinic operations, patient care, safety, quality, and organizational performance.

Ability to manage time, tasks, priorities, and resources appropriately in a clinic setting.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with patients, families, colleagues, staff, and other customers.

Strong documentation and computer skills.

Ability to read, write, and understand policies, procedures, labels, written instructions, clinical information, and regulatory requirements.
