Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of the food and beverage industry. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, preparing and serving drinks, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in a timely manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Operate the POS system efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking drink and food orders, and offering recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when necessary.
- Maintain inventory of bar supplies and report any shortages or needs to management.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Digital Dining, is an advantage.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and drink preparation measurements.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling.
