McT Construction is seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter to join our growing team. We are looking for an individual who takes pride in their workmanship, values professionalism, and is committed to delivering high-quality construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Complete residential construction projects
- Perform framing, structural carpentry, renovations, additions, decks, and finish carpentry
- Read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications
- Install doors, windows, siding, trim and other finish materials
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet project schedules
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
- Mentor and assist labourers and apprentices in developing their skills
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of carpentry experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of residential construction methods and building practices
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans
- Experience with framing, renovations, and finish carpentry
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
