2025 Associate Brand Manager Intern Multiple Openings (Summer)
In this position, you will act as a business leader on a major Canadian brand to drive national business growth.
This position is based at our Markham office and will report into a Brand Manager, Brand Team Lead or Senior Brand Leader.

Location: Markham, ON
Travel %: up to 10%
Pay: Anticipated weekly pay for this position is $775 to $915 and will be based on candidate’s program year, discipline and degree/experience.
What you will do
We are looking for forward-thinking & motivated students to join the Consumer Marketing team in the summer as an Associate Brand Manager Intern (Summer 2025) in Markham, Ontario.
As an Associate Brand Manager Intern, you will act as a business leader to drive growth on your brand through strategies & executions that have national impact. Just like any entrepreneur or general manager, you will be responsible for the key drivers of business performance, including:
- Development and execution of a strategic business plan for your brand, garnering consensus through senior management
- Uncovering analytical insights about the category, competitor & retail customers that drive business recommendations
- Supporting your brand’s P&L & making investment recommendations to drive profitable growth
- Collaborating with internal partners, including sales, regulatory, finance, supply, demand planning & global marketing teams to effectively execute against local business plans
- Successfully tracking & analyzing delivery of monthly and annual shipment and consumption targets
- Shaping recommendations to launch new product innovation, and recommending pricing & merchandising strategies
- Conducting consumer research to uncover insights that shape in-market activations
- Crafting marketing communications (eg. TV, digital, print, sampling, professional, etc.) & claims with external agency partners
- Partnering with your peer marketers to craft & influence enterprise-level thinking
Within the role, you will be provided the opportunity for strong learning & development and the chance to grow your skills through formal and on-the-job training. Upon completion of the internship, top performing candidates may be considered for full-time roles.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Actively working towards the completion of a University degree (Undergraduate OR Graduate)
- Ability to work the duration of the assignment
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Pursuing education in Business Administration
- Actively pursuing Graduate degree OR Undergraduate 3rd year or 4th year student
- Previous brand management internships or relevant marketing experience is highly encouraged
- Digital marketing experience is an asset, as are budget management and forecasting skills
