Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Security Guard/Crowd Controller to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. This role involves monitoring activities, managing crowds during events, and maintaining a secure environment through proactive surveillance and loss prevention measures. The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to handle various security situations with professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent unauthorized access or disturbances
- Manage crowd control during events to ensure safety and orderliness
- Conduct surveillance using CCTV systems to identify suspicious activities or security breaches
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, including medical issues or security threats
- Enforce rules and policies consistently while maintaining a professional demeanor
- Document incidents accurately in reports for record-keeping and future reference
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary
Skills
- Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is preferred
- Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
- Good communication skills for interacting with the public, staff, and emergency responders
- Physical fitness to patrol large areas and respond quickly when needed
