Shop and Parts Manager
At Oxford Milkway Transport Co-Op, we’ve proudly grown over 60 years from a small group of innovative producers into a cornerstone of Southwestern Ontario’s dairy industry. As a member of the Ontario Milk Transport Association, we specialize in delivering top-quality milk with state-of-the-art equipment and dedicated trailers. With a fleet of 65 trucks and 100 employees, we serve local producers daily, building strong partnerships with our community and the Dairy Farmers of Ontario (DFO). Our head office and main yard is in Woodstock, with additional depots in Mitchell, Millbank and Elmira area.
Oxford Milkway is seeking an experienced Shop and Parts Manager to lead shop operations and parts inventory for our fleet. Reporting to the General Manager, this role is responsible for keeping trucks, trailers, and related equipment safe, compliant, and road ready.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily shop operations, maintenance, and repairs
- Manage preventive maintenance schedules and compliance records
- Lead parts inventory, sourcing, procurement, and supplier relationships
- Supervise shop and parts staff, including scheduling and performance management
- Support fleet reliability by balancing urgency, cost control, safety, and compliance
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of progressive experience in shop, fleet maintenance, and/or parts management
- Strong management and leadership experience with the ability to supervise and coach staff
- Solid understanding of fleet mechanics, fleet safety, and ministry compliance
- Experience with parts sourcing, vendor coordination, and procurement
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Working Conditions
This role is based in Woodstock and supports operations in both Woodstock and Mitchell. Work is performed in shop, yard, parts room, and office settings and may require occasional extended hours or on-call support.

Pay: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
