Production Worker/Assembler at Injection Molding Facility
Wilger Industries Ltd. is an industry-leading designer and manufacturer of high-quality sprayer nozzles and accessories for the agricultural and turf equipment industries. Our innovative products are sold throughout North and South America, Europe, and Australia.
We currently require a permanent full-time Production Worker / Assembler. The assembler is responsible for the safe and efficient trimming, stamping, and assembly of parts as well as removing parts from the injection machines as needed.
Responsibilities:
· Use tools to make or assemble parts and products.
· Interpret technical documents, such as diagrams, schematics, blueprints, or other verbal or written instructions.
· Work with other members of the line or group in order to assemble products.
· Work as an attendant at the machines to remove parts as needed. This may involve some work with a drill to remove inserts.
· Keep a clean and tidy workspace.
· Meet all safety requirements of the company and industry.
· Identify any defective items and handle according to established procedures.
· Ability to use reason to solve problems as they arise.
· Actively participate in the compliance of the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Assurance System
Qualifications:
· Good verbal and written communications skills
· Valid Class 5 Driver’s licence as there is no public transportation service here
· Excellent vision and attention to detail
