Rogers Digital is seeking an exceptional Senior Manager, Product Design to lead a team of product designers to help build best-in-class digital experiences for our Rogers for Business portfolio. You will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with experience design strategy, front-end developers, content teams, and brand experts to lead a team in crafting intuitive experiences for our responsive websites, apps and agent tools. You will ensure that the customer experience is front and centre of everything we do, taking research, customer journeys, business needs and best practices into consideration in the design and creation of information architectures, user flows, wireframes, and functional specifications, ensuring they are the best possible deliverables.
A design professional who is passionate about user experience and a champion of user-centric design
8+ years of experience in product design: UX architecture, UI design, requirements, concepts, wireframes, prototyping, and usability testing. 5 of those years will have been leading people
Proven track record leading design teams
Collaborative spirit and a positive attitude
Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management skills; comfortable interacting with and providing thought leadership in design to executives
Ability to communicate complex eco-systems into persuasive narratives to challeng people's thinking and traditional ways of operating
Working knowledge of enterprise-level design system, CRM, Salesforce and Data analytics;
B2B and enterprise experience is a must
Strong portfolio demonstrating experience leading design for complex ecommerce websites and mobile platforms
Knowledge of the latest trends and technologies in responsive design, user-centered design, and information architecture, coupled with a strong acumen to think out-of-the-box
Degree in HCI, Human Factors, Psychology, Information Design, Engineering or related field
Guide product designers to create experience design deliverables - site journeys, user flows, wireframes, page hierarchy, information architectures, mockups while leveraging best-practices, research, testing, and analytics to inform decision making
Build strong relationships across all areas of the Rogers for Business team to unearth opportunities to use Experience Design practices (Design Thinking, UX Research, Service Design etc) to solve business problems and develop long term strategies
Maintain a high level of collaboration with the R4B Digital leadership team to define the strategic objectives as they relate to the overall vision, strategy, team objectives, and tactical plans as well as execution and monitoring
Oversee the evolution of Design Thinking into a standard process and methodology used across R4B
Serve as a subject matter expert providing actionable recommendations and confidently standing behind them to obtain stakeholder buy-in
Initiate the process of testing and optimizing our deliverables, engaging the user research, analytics and digital optimization team as required.
Works closely with Design Systems team to make sure that all new components adhere to guidelines and quality standards.
Lead, coach, motivate and retain a team. Providing them with opportunities for personal growth and development.
