Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Korean Restaurant Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves supervising staff, managing food preparation and safety standards, and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests. Prior experience in food service, hospitality, or the food industry is essential, along with proficiency in restaurant POS systems such as Micros POS. A background in kitchen operations, food handling, and restaurant experience is highly valued. The manager will play a key role in maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and high-quality service
- Supervise and train staff members, including interviewing and onboarding new team members
- Manage food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to food safety and hygiene standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems like Micros POS
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed by all team members
- Maintain excellent customer service standards to enhance guest satisfaction
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement of ingredients and supplies
- Enforce health and safety regulations within the restaurant environment
- Lead team management efforts including scheduling, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution
- Assist in kitchen operations when necessary, including cooking and food presentation oversight
- Manage restaurant cleanliness, organization, and compliance with sanitation standards
- Support hospitality initiatives to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests
Requirements
- Proven supervising or restaurant management experience within the food industry or hospitality sector
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols
- Experience with POS systems; cash handling expertise required
- Background in food service, serving, or kitchen operations preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience interviewing staff and building effective teams
- Knowledge of restaurant management best practices including inventory control and health regulations
- Previous hotel or barista experience is considered a plus but not required
