Concord Confections, the manufacturer of Dubble Bubble gum and other fine candy products has immediate openings for full-time Machine Operators. Positions are on the night shift.
Responsibilities
- Complete pre-start inspections as per procedure.
- Ensure all materials are available to run as per the schedule.
- Read and follow packaging specifications.
- Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safe food handling practices.
- Maintain compliance to product specifications and characteristics;
- Make minor adjustments, troubleshoot and monitor all stages of the operation;
- Collect, confirm and verify each line report.
- Ensure equipment is operated according to company safety rules and regulations.
- Follow safe food preparation and handling practices.
- Check raw materials identification and traceability.
- Ensuring the work area is clean and tidy including sanitation of equipment.
- Monitor machine and equipment performance.
- Monitor metal detectors.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
- Read and understand all product specifications
- Able to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs.

Pay: From $24.15 per hour
