Best Western Cedar Park Inn is looking for a reliable and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. We are seeking a hands-on individual with strong knowledge of HVAC systems and pool maintenance who can help ensure our hotel remains safe, comfortable, and well-maintained for our guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot hotel HVAC systems to ensure proper heating and cooling throughout the property
- Perform regular inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on HVAC equipment
- Maintain and monitor hotel pool and hot tub systems, including water chemistry, filtration systems, and overall cleanliness
- Respond quickly to maintenance requests and guest concerns
- Conduct routine repairs and general maintenance throughout the hotel
- Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely and in compliance with health and safety standards
- Work closely with management to identify and resolve maintenance issues before they impact guest satisfaction
- Assist with emergency repairs when required
Qualifications:
- Experience with commercial HVAC systems is required
- Knowledge of pool operations and pool chemical handling preferred
- General maintenance experience in hotels or commercial buildings is an asset
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
- Must be available to work weekends and on-call shifts if required
